Explanation of my idea
I will be using a variety of storyboards to plan out my
scene that will be taking in an alley way and is about a wallet being lost in
an alley way, but someone comes and retrieve it, we will be carrying this out
using a variety of different camera techniques the camera techniques that we
will be using is rule of thirds, shot/reverse/shot and match on action. I will
be also using various amount of shot type such as an establishing shot,
straight angle and, mid shot. Also I will be using a range of editing
techniques such as cut/fade in and fade out.
The first shot that I've used was an establishing shot in
the first scene, in this first scene the wallet was in the alley way alone and
the shot type was a high angle shot I've decided to use the establishing shot
because I knew that it would set the scene. I decided to use a high shot
because it would highlight the relevant action in the scene which was wallet
alone the alleyway. I used match on action in the eighth and ninth scene such as
when Darren opened and closed the door because it was necessary to show the
transition between him opening and walking through. I used mid shot because it
fills the screen and there’s no dead space. At points in my scene that uses dialogue, such as scene
ten and eleven I used shot/reverse/shot to indicate and introduce who’s talking
and make it flow between dialogue, I used
a close up in shot/reverse/shot, so the audience knows who’s talking and
which character is listening.
The editing technique that I will be using in the first
scene is a Fade in because it will fade into the next scene and the audience
will know which scene it is also the in the next couple of scenes I will be using a vast amount of cuts because then the mistakes that I done will be edited therefore it will be cuts and in the end of the scene i will be using a Fade out to black because the audience will know that its the end of the scene.
The Encounter (first draft)
here is a video of my first draft that I had to created in my media lesson and I had to use a variety of camera techniques but in this first draft my video didn't make sense because there was no match on action so I had to re edit it that's why it made sense and there was match on action
The Final Encounter (second draft and final)
here is my final video which I made changes to and I added these changes such as match on action near the end and we stuck to the 180 degree rule we also used a variety of different camera techniques such as shot/reverse/shot, near the end there is match on action which I had to re edit because on the first one I didn't have it but on the final one I had to add it in so I added it in.

My Summer
Films
I spent a vast amount of time watching films. I watched a film called “X- Men First Class” which is a story based on a collective group of characters, aged between 18 - 40 years old and their journey in discovering and learning how to master their mutant skills. The reason for selecting this film is because it falls in the genre of action/adventure, which is something that interests me as I enjoy the fast pace scenes loaded with action and relevant non-digetic music. One of the quotes that I found funny was “Oh, Jesus! Gentlemen, this is why the CIA is no place for a woman.” i found it hilarious because men assume that women can't do much in fact because she lost her memory.

Song
During my summer holidays I listened to a variety of songs but that was on constant replay was a song called,” Us Against The World” by Clement Marfo. I chose this song because it means a lot to me. I was able to connect to the artist, in this song he uses lyrics such as “I'm just speaking my mind, any solution on what to do
Please don't shoot the messenger, Mr prime minister” and another lyric that I like is “Treat others how you like to be treated, treat people the same
Treat everybody even, as long you are breathing
Everyday is an achievement” I chose these lyrics because they align with my personal views.
TV programmes
I watched a lot of TV programmes but the one that I watched the most, was the World cup. I chose the World Cup because it is a well-known event which unites several nationalities together plus the genre is sport, which is a major bonus for me. I appreciated the use of good camera shots, especially those that included the fans. I saw the reactions of the fans entertaining and funny . The World Cup was very entertaining and exciting. Another TV show that I had watched was called Match Of The Day, I liked this TV show because it shows highlights about the football matches and tells you information about the upcoming football matches.
I spent most of my time browsing the internet, through Google as I found it to be an efficient search engine, and be watching a variety of YouTube videos. I find YouTube to be a great source of entertainment as you can go from watching a video of talking cats to a tutorial on how to do the latest dance. YouTube is a great platform to watch what other people are getting up to in the world and plus its free!,another website that i used was Wikipedia because its an excellent and resourceful site were i can find information about the world.
Story
The story that I had heard about was when, Germany beat Brazil (7-1) this was a horrific lost to the Brazilians because they were the ones, who hosted the world cup this year. What was most disturbing was the metro article with the “Brazil fans torture themselves by creating never-ending Germany vs. Brazil” title, which was about a fan made website imagining what the score would have been like if the match continued. I found this article interesting because it was the Brazilian fans who created this site instead of the German fans. It is astonishing that the Brazilian fans were not happy with the final score but went on to create a site dedicated to the defeat of their football players.
